According to the United States Census Bureau, the Raoul CDP has a total area of 2.0 square miles (5.2 km2), of which 0.01 square miles (0.02 km2), or 0.33%, are water.

As of the census of 2010, there were 2,558 people, 348 households, and 262 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1266.3 people per square mile (490/km2). There were 405 housing units at an average density of 200.5/sq mi (77.6/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 66.8% White, 24.6% African American, 0.4% Native American, 0.7% Asian, 6.0% from other races, and 1.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 10.2% of the population.

There were 405 households, out of which 35.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.3% were married couples living together, 14.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.7% were non-families. 20.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.91 and the average family size was 3.36.
