The racial makeup of the CDP was 93.66% White, 1.41% African American, 0.82% Native American, 1.63% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 0.68% from other races, and 1.70% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.45% of the population.
There were 4,615 households, out of which 29.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.2% were married couples living together, 9.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.3% were non-families. 27.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
