Description
Could you save a loved one in an emergency?
When an emergency happens at home or in your community, knowing what to do can help you respond. Friends & Family CPR gives families, friends, and community groups a clear, supportive setting to learn and practice essential skills for emergencies involving adults, children, and infants.
In this instructor-led class, you’ll learn:
- Hands-Only CPR: Practice chest compressions for adults.
- AED use: Learn the basics of using an automated external defibrillator.
- CPR for children and infants: Review age-appropriate CPR skills.
- Choking relief: Learn how to respond when an adult, child, or infant is choking.
- Emergency recognition: Discuss signs that may call for immediate action.
This course can work well for families, neighborhood groups, parent-teacher meetings, and community gatherings. It’s a practical skills class, not a certification course, so it may not meet an employer’s or role’s CPR certification requirement. If you need certification or renewal, check the details for the appropriate course before booking.
Participants receive course materials and a tear-out Participation Card for reference.
