Blended Course

CPR Training School offers an American Heart Association Blended CPR course which was the first national program to combine true Home Study and hands-on CPR training. This course is the perfect option for the individuals or groups who have limited time to attend a regular 4-hour class.  The course teaches the basic techniques of adult, child, and infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

The Blended Course teaches students how to recognize the signs of three major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, and choking. It also teaches students to use barrier devices in CPR and to give first aid for choking in a responsive victim.

Audience

The Blended CPR Course is intended for all lay responders with a duty to respond to cardiac emergencies, such as employees in the workplace, firefighters, police, airline personnel, security guards, teachers, massage therapists, personal trainers, lifeguards, childcare providers, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, and other lay rescuers who may need to respond to a sudden cardiac arrest and learn how to use an AED.
