This American Heart Association Heartsaver Adult First Aid with CPR and AED course was developed on the basis of evidence-based guidelines. It is a modular course that includes training in the First Aid skills recommended by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA). You will learn skills to effectively assess and maintain life from the critical minutes immediately following an emergency, until the arrival of emergency medical services personnel.
Audience
Heartsaver Adult First Aid with CPR and AED course is an ideal course for any person assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace or community, as well as those who want to learn First Aid, CPR and AED skills. Some rescuers are required to take this course as part of their employer’s efforts to comply with OSHA regulations, including corporate employees, security guards, airline personnel, lifeguards and other individuals who want or need first aid training.
